Danielle N. Melhorn

On Friday, December 16, 2016, Danielle N. Melhorn, 51, of Lower Allen Twp., New Cumberland, peacefully entered into the Kingdom of Heaven while surrounded by her family.
She was a Teacher’s Aide in the West Shore School District and also worked as a server at Culhane's Steak House, New Cumberland. Danielle was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Lemoyne, and an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed, among other things, cycling and skiing. Born on January 11, 1965, she was the daughter of Howard and Anita J. (Rodgers) Carey of New Cumberland. Danielle was preceded in death by a nephew, Jason S. Carey.
In addition to her parents, surviving are a daughter, Taylor A. Melhorn of New Cumberland and a step-daughter, Kelli S. Kashner of Seven Valleys; a brother, Brian H. Carey of New Cumberland and a nephew, Jordan T. Carey of New Cumberland.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday at Calvary United Methodist Church, Lemoyne, with the Rev. Dr. Lew Parks officiating.
Visitation will be held 6 – 8 PM on Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
