Darlene Brown

Darlene Brown, 68 of Mechanicsburg went home to be with the Lord March 14, 2019, with her loving children at her side after a courageous, yet short battle with lung cancer.

She was the daughter of the late Warren and Alice Brown, proudly born and raised in Deer Park, NY. She had 16 brothers and sisters whom loved her dearly.

She is survived by her beloved 4 children; Tracy McGarty of Deer Park, NY, Jodi Cerbone (Jon) of Shrewsbury, Jennifer Mundt (Lou Hocker) of Mechanicsburg, and Hans Mundt II (Michelle Kepner) of Mechanicsburg. Her most prized possessions were her 9 grandchildren; Joseph, Shane and Kylie, Emily, Justin & Nathan, Olivia, Madison and Ryan.

She was the best Grammy to them all. She loved her job at Five Star International and will be missed.

When she wasn’t working or spending time with the grandchildren, you could find her outside in the yard working on her flowers. She was known for her love of her grandkids, humor and kind and giving soul, and will be sorely missed.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
