David A. Swope

.David A. Swope, 51, of Camp Hill, passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2016 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.

He was a diesel mechanic with NAPA Transportation and was a former Army Reservist. He loved motorcycles, NASCAR, and outdoor grilling. Additionally, he was a member of Worn and Weathered Motorcycle Club of Stamford, NY.

Dave was born in Harrisburg and was the son of Shirley Swope of New Cumberland and the late Larry Swope.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son Christopher A. Swope of Palmyra; his daughter Sarah Swope of York Haven; and his girlfriend Judy Byrnes of Camp Hill.

A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Friday, January 29, 2016 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. There will be no viewing or visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are respectfully requested to the American Heart Association, Capital Region Division 1019 Mumma Road Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
