David A. Wait M.D.

David A. Wait, M.D., 60, of Swatara Twp., Harrisburg, formerly of New Cumberland, died Sunday, July 28, 2019, at his home.

He was a retired Internist/owner of the Francis Henry Health Center, Harrisburg; a graduate of Ross University, Dominica, and the University of Lowell, Lowell, MA; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Dr. Wait was Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction.

Born on July 2, 1959, in Brighton, MA, he was the son of Yola J. (Marcotte) Wait of Chelmsford, MA, and the late Francis Henry Wait.

In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife of 24 years, Faith E. (Fielding) Wait; sons and daughters, Allicia L. Faber (Dustin) of Mansfield, AR, Melissa J. Taverna (Joseph) of Camp Hill, Clifford P. Jensen (Molly) of York Haven, Matthew T. Jensen (Kristy) of Middletown, and Mychal J. Broadway of Enola; three brothers, Francis Wait of Rockport, MA, Stephen Wait of Tyngsboro, MA, and Robert Wait of Billerica, MA; ten grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Kyle Sahd as celebrant. Inurnment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Twp., at the convenience of the family.

Visitation will be held 6 – 8pm Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
