David C. Raugh

David C. Raugh, 77, of Lewisberry, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 in his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was an electrician with the IBEW Local 143, Harrisburg for over 40 years and retired as Project Manager for G.R. Sponaugle after 15 years. He was also active with the IBEW Retirees group where he served as secretary. He was a graduate of Altoona Catholic High School; served on the Lewisberry Borough Council where he was President for 3 years; served on the Board of the Red Land Community Action Program; was an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers football fan; was a 10,000 step fitness devotee, avid reader and music lover; and was a member of Holy Infant Catholic Church, York Haven. Above all, he was a doting father and grandfather and a devoted husband.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary Jane (Halton) Raugh; children, Kim Garrett and husband Mark of Mt. Wolf, Christopher Raugh and wife Amy of New Cumberland, Patrick Raugh and wife Kathy (Kirsch) of New Bloomfield and Deborah Morrow and husband Jason of Sanford, FL; siblings, Joseph Raugh and wife Jean Marie (McConville) of Richmond, VA, Roy Raugh and wife Patricia (Swan) of Altoona and Ann Marie Weyant and husband Rodger of Berlin, PA; and seven grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, December 3, 2015 in his church with the Rev. Mark E. Weiss as Celebrant. Visitation will be one half hour prior to Mass time in the church. Burial will be Saturday in Coupon, PA.
