David Joseph Gaiski

David Joseph Gaiski, 69 of Harrisburg died Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

A 1972 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, he was a retired Diesel Mechanic having worked for several trucking companies in the area. He was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying his own plane from Capital City Airport. Dave was a dog lover and kept biscuits in his pocket to take advantage of any opportunity to greet dogs when he was out and about. 

He was born January 21, 1955 in Harrisburg to the late John L. and Mary A. (Butina) Gaiski.

He is survived by his siblings, Christine M. Dougher (Joseph) of New Cumberland, Mary Frances Heilman of Harrisburg, and Frank Vucenic of Oakdale, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9:30am until Scripture Services at 10am Wednesday, October 23rd at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Committal services will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Twp.
