David L. Gingrich, Sr.

David L. Gingrich, Sr., 79 of New Cumberland, Fairview Twp. died Thursday, April 16, 2020 at his home.

He was the owner/operator of Gingrich Plumbing and Heating which is now celebrating 50 years and three generations. He enjoyed hunting at his cabin in Lycoming Co. and bear hunting in Canada.

He was born June 3, 1940 in Harrisburg to the late Clair Newton and Mary Elizabeth (Shott) Gingrich. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey.

He is survived by his wife Donna (Enders) Gingrich whom he married April 12, 1958. This year they celebrated their 62nd anniversary. Also survived by daughter, Tina M. Houck of New Cumberland; son David, Jr. of Mechanicsburg; five grandsons, Christopher, Kevin, Jeffery, Ian, and Tyler; two great-grandsons, Landon and Weston; and a great-granddaughter, Daisy.

Due to social distancing restrictions, private services and burial in Fairview Cemetery, Enders will be held at the convenience of the family.
