David Miller Weigle

August 23, 1939 — September 8, 2020

David Miller Weigle, 81, of Mechanicsburg died Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his home. He was born August 2, 1939 in Danville to the late Mildred (Donmoyer) Weigle and Russell Miller Weigle.

A 1957 graduate of John Harris High School, he received his BA from Lafayette College in 1961. He retired from the PA Dept. of Revenue and had also worked for H & R Block after a career as a Trust Officer with PNC Bank. A passionate member and Secretary of the Lewisberry Gun Club, he was an avid fan of Penn State Football and the Philadelphia Phillies.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Gordon Weigle; daughter, Elizabeth Weigle (Alexander Sokoloff) of Philadelphia; son, Mark Weigle (Sonya) of
Wayne; and three grandchildren, Harper, Lauren, and Ashleigh.

Visitation following suggested precautions will be from 2pm until funeral services at 3pm Saturday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Private burial will be in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Baltimore.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the International Rescue Committee (www.rescue.org)
