Dawn Marie Peffer

Dawn Peffer, 74, of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, passed away on February 10, 2025 at home. She was born on April 24, 1950 in Summerdale, PA to the late Reynold and Leona (Hager) Petre. Dawn married her high school sweetheart, Allen on August 2, 1969 and they lived a happy life for more than 55 years. They enjoyed simple things in life like playing cards, relaxing Caribbean cruises, watching Hallmark movies and spending time laughing with family and friends. As a beautician for nearly 50 years, Dawn loved making people feel beautiful!

Dawn is survived by two daughters, Stacey (Ken) Bair and Mindy (Andrew Jackson) Peffer; five grandchildren, Benjamin and Christopher Bair, Bailey Dolbin, and Adaline and Aden Jackson; a sister, Vicki Sponsler, and brother, Reynold Petre, Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Peffer and her parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 3 PM at Parthemore Funeral Home. Reverend Jennifer Richards will officiate. A gathering of celebration will be held after the services at Stacey & Ken's home in Dillsburg. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation honoring Dawn as a breast cancer survivor.
