Dean R. Shradley, 69, of Fairview Twp., New Cumberland, died Monday, February 20, 2023, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
He retired from Highmark Blue Shield, Camp Hill, as the Director of Finance; a Vietnam Air Force Veteran; a member of Eberly’s Mill Church of God, Camp Hill. Pop loved life when he was with family and good friends. His favorite days were with his amazing wife and family. We will all remember that smile that would light up a room and that laugh, it was so contagious. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched. Born on January 27, 1954, he was the son of Janet M. (Potteiger) Shradley of Grantville and Weir M. Shradley of Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by a daughter in law, Pamela A. Shradley.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Mary B. (Strahl) Shradley; two sons and their wives, Michael D. and Chris L. Shradley of Etters and Matthew D. and Alicia M. Shradley of New Cumberland; six grandchildren, Lindsay and her husband Chris, Brian and his fiancé Abby, Sydney, Brady, Elizabeth and Matthew; a great granddaughter, Brinley; a brother and his wife, Weir M., Jr. and Patti Shradley of Harrisburg; two nephews, Joel and Ryan.
A visitation will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, March 4, at Eberly’s Mill Church of God, 115 Creek Rd, Camp Hill, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM officiated by Pastor Anthony Zumbo. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
