Debra K. Metzger

Debra K. (Dalton) Metzger, 59, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Preston County, WV, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 in Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center, Derry Twp.

She was a retired Food Services Manager with Subway Restaurants and a graduate of West Preston High School, Masontown WV. Debra enjoyed cooking, gardening and hiking and was an avid reader. But what she loved most was spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.

Debra was born in Morgantown, WV to the late Cecil and Sandra (Murray) Dalton.

She is survived by her husband of more than 38 years William Jason Metzger; two sons, William Jeremy Metzger (Megan Buchter) of Atlanta, GA and Joshua W. Metzger (Victoria) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; siblings, Cecil Dalton, Jr. of Reedsville, WV, Janet Dalton of Dellslow, WV, Kevin Dalton of Las Vegas, NV, Ricky Dalton of Dellslow, WV and David Dalton of Las Vegas, NV; and two grandsons, Jacob Anthony Metzger and Christopher William Metzger.

A memorial service will be held at a future date when family can gather, celebrate and remember.
