Delores Mary Sabia, 86, of Camp Hill transitioned into Heaven on Monday evening, January 4, 2021 at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Hospital.
Delores was born in Hazleton to the late William and Anna (Bochar) Poluirtz on March 14, 1934.
Throughout her life Delores’s greatest joy was being a wife and mother on Yverdon Drive. Her husband, Angelo Sabia and son, Mark Sabia passed away in 2017 and 2014 respectively. For the last three years she chose to live comfortably at The Woods At Cedar Run where she enjoyed shopping, TCM movies and watching Penn State Football. Dee, as her friends called her, met life’s challenges with pure determination and was an inspiration to those who knew her. She had a real sense of style and took pride in her appearance.
Along with her loving husband and son, Delores was predeceased by her sister, Joan Woodland. She is survived by nieces Linda Harris, Stacy Matthews and Renee Barletta and also her friend, Pat Habowski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in her Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill at 11:00 AM with the Very Reverend Neil S. Sullivan as Celebrant. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Friday, January 8th until the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Church of the Good Shepherd, (http://www.goodshepherd-parish.com), 3435 Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. For more information or to send messages of condolence, please visit www.parthemore.com.
