Denise E. Frantz, 51, of Camp Hill, died Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Susquehanna Twp. following a two-year battle with melanoma.
Born on November 5, 1970, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of Dennis G. Everitt, formerly of Tunkhannock, and the late Margaret A. (Humenansky) Everitt.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 26 years, Kevin E. Frantz; a daughter, Ellen T. Frantz; and a son, Ben E. Frantz; sisters and their husbands, Frances S. Yekel (Brian) of Wilkes-Barre, and Melissa E. Michlowski (William) of Clarks Summit; mother- and father-in-law, Nancy and Harvey Frantz of Pottsville; sister-in-law Jennifer Pizzico (Mark) of New Albany, OH; nephews, Matthew Yekel, Andrew Pizzico, and Will Pizzico.
She is also survived by a wide circle of friends and co-workers who lovingly supported her and her family throughout her illness.
Denise is a 1988 graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School, a 1992 graduate of DeSales University, and a 1995 graduate of Hollins University with a Master of Arts in Psychology. She was employed as the Membership and Donation Manager at The M.S. Hershey Foundation.
She was a member of the Cathedral Parish of St. Patrick for more than 20 years, where she previously served on the parish council.
Denise loved to take charge (she called it leadership), but she did so with kindness, joy, a little bit of sarcasm, and a whole lot of laughter. We all will miss her terribly.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday at the Cathedral Parish of St. Patrick, Harrisburg, with the Rev. Joshua Brommer as celebrant. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.
Viewing will be held 5 – 7 PM Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to St. Theresa School, (www.sainttheresaschool.org), 1200 Bridge St, New Cumberland, PA 17070, or to Trinity High School, (https://thsrocks.us), 3601 Simpson Ferry Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
