Dennis H. Malloy, 79, of Camp Hill peacefully passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at UPMC Harrisburg.
He retired as a special agent for the U.S. Dept. of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration, Harrisburg after 24 years. After retirement from the DEA, he operated Demo Enterprises where he supported Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (F.L.E.O.A.) and enjoyed working part time for Hoffman Ford. Dennis was also a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in New Cumberland, a member emeritus F.L.E.O.A., an active member in the Association of Former Federal Narcotics Agents (AFFNA), and a support driver for Police Unity Tour. All that in addition to always providing a helping hand to anyone in need.
Born on July 13, 1942 in Philadelphia, Dennis was the son of the late Hugh and Dorothy (Davis) Malloy. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Maureen (O’Kane) Malloy, daughter Debbie Burns and her husband Ed of Boulder, CO, son Dennis and his wife Maryann of Philadelphia, son Tim and his wife Danielle of Harrisburg, son Jeff and his wife Cheryl of Camp Hill, son Chris and his wife Kate of Denver, CO. He also had five grandchildren, Ryan, Shaun, D.J., Patrick and Juliet, a beloved dog Guinness, and many nephews, nieces, and in-laws who he loved as much, if not more, than his immediate family. Dennis was a father figure to many friends and family and made a lasting impression with everyone he met.
A visitation will be held Friday from 9 until 10:30 AM at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Following will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebration at 11 AM in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Jayasaleen Amalanathan as Celebrant.
