Dennis P. Keener

Dennis P. Keener, 72, of New Cumberland and formerly of Palmyra, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 in UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Hospital, Hampden Twp.

He worked for the former New Cumberland Army Depot, Fairview Twp. and prior to that was a foreman with Fruehauf Trailer Corporation, Middletown. He was a U.S. Navy Seabee veteran of the Vietnam War; a 62-year Hershey Bears Hockey fan (over 40 of those as a season ticket holder); a member of the Fairview Twp. Fire Company Fire Police; and thoroughly enjoyed taking cruises with his wife, Marian.

Dennis was born September 8th, 1948 in Lebanon, son of the late Paul and Charlotte (Fetterhoff) Keener.

He is survived by his loving wife of more than 51 years, Marian (Minnich) Keener; daughter Jennifer Bachman and husband Jason of Elizabethtown; sister Pamela Kreiser of Annville; and a granddaughter Paige Bachman.

A graveside service with military honors will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 10:30 am.
