Diana Lee Lilley

Diana Lee Lilley, 71, of Highspire, died Friday, October 25, 2024 at Oak Hill Village Center for Rehabilitation, Middletown.

She was a playful, caring, giving, and loving person. She loved her family unconditionally and with all her heart. She enjoyed serving and catering to others needs, giving blankets to the homeless, and was always willing to share her time and listen to others problems. She had a love of knick-knacks, especially elephants for symbolizing good luck. She loved anything red and enjoyed getting dressed up with her favorite jewelry for going out.

She cherished her time with her children and grandchildren. She loved nothing more than playing with, singing to, and pampering them. She was always excited for large family gatherings and the holidays. She would cater large family meals and her cookies and desserts were always looked forward to. She also was known for her excellent baked beans and deviled eggs.

Music played a large part in her life and she cherished her collection of music from her father’s bluegrass band. She loved artists such as Elvis and Patsy Cline and anything soulful. She would often be found singing and dancing around her home in her younger years. She also loved listening to her daughter Christine sing.

She was born February 13, 1953 in Tiffin, OH to the late Alton and Joyce (Leach) Craig. She was also preceded in death by her husband Harry A. Lilley, III; daughter, Christine Diana Lilley; sister, Joyce Hill; and niece, Sharlene.

She is survived by her children, Dalton A. McDiffitt (Jennifer) of Dillsburg, Dawn M. Qualls of Wormleysburg, and Harry A. Lilley, IV (Leah) of Lemoyne; sisters, Shirley Ward and Patricia Huffman both of Tiffin, OH; grandchildren, Caitlin, Jordan, Arizona, Kara, Aedan, Orchid, Lana, Harry, and Nora; partner, Dennis Huffman; nieces, Sherry, Donna, Crystal, and Rhonda; and nephews, Craig, and Marty.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
