Diane L. Knickman, 74, of New Cumberland died Sunday at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, E. Pennsboro Twp.
She was a retired Senior Auditor from Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Cathedral, Harrisburg. She enjoyed RVing, Elvis Presley, San Francisco, reading, traveling to Virginia Beach, attending Chanticleer concerts, and especially her children.
She was born September 29, 1944 in Atlantic City, NJ to the late Lynn Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Victoria Atkins.
She is survived by her husband, William C. Knickman; six children; Patricia Burns (David), Pamela Minhas, Tracy Burns (Michael), Stephen Atkins (Wendy), Kristen Knickman (Rob Ryder), and Matthew Knickman; and eight grandchildren; Jonathan, Nicole, Sara, Shawn, Jennifer, Courtney, David, and Regan.
A private celebration of Diane’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the nonprofit organization Chanticleer, https://www.chanticleer.org/ , based in San Francisco, California. Chanticleer is known globally as an Orchestra of Voices, and is a nonprofit, full-time male classical vocal ensemble.
