Dolores "Dee" M. Ward

Dolores “Dee” M. Ward, 63, of New Cumberland died Friday, February 25, 2022 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital.

Dee graduated from Redland High School class of 1976. Immediately after graduating she entered into what would become a lifetime of employment in the electronics industry. Her career employment was with Ford Industries, Phoenix Contact, and Flight Systems. Within the industry she was continually sought after for her knowledge, experience, and ability to teach other employees.

She was an avid reader, was an extremely likable person and had many close friends. Dee was a huge animal lover and especially loved cats. Throughout her life, her feline friends (Max, Libby, Tori, and Shadow) gave her extreme joy and companionship.

She also had a deep love and energy for flower gardening. Every year she had the most magnificent garden at her house in Beacon Hill. Her greatest passion of all was traveling, especially cruising. She and Bob did 11 cruises, visited many countries, traveled much of our country and absolutely loved the PA State Parks. Dee was extremely grateful for having experienced much of Europe as a young girl. She will be missed and loved forever by those who knew her.

She was born March 28, 1958 in Neubrücke Germany to John J. Robinson, of New Cumberland and the late Magdalena (Schneider) Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Francis and Michael.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband Robert P. Ward; brother Jack Robinson of Schnecksville; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Viewing will be from10 until funeral services at 11am Thursday, March 3rd at Parthemore Funeral Home followed by graveside services at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Churchtown.
