Dolores J. Dalto, 87, of New Cumberland, Fairview Twp., passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland and a former president of the York County Women’s Democratic Committee.

Dolores was born in Ranshaw, PA to the late John F. and Gertrude (Sacus) Stank. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law Randall S. Bowen, a sister Louise C. Jones and a nephew Alan Jones.

She is survived by her husband of more than 57 years Daniel J. Dalto; her daughter Susan L. Bowen of Etters; her son David J. Dalto and wife Lisa of Hummelstown; a sister Margaret A. Stank of Camp Hill; four grandchildren, Christopher L. Bowen, Nicholas M. Bowen, Paige M. Dalto and Claire E. Dalto; and a great grandson Gavin Randall Bowen.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in her church with the Rev. Msgr. Samuel Sacus of St Francis de Sales, Beckley W Va and Rev. S.T. Antony Raja concelebrating. A visitation for family and friends will take place immediately following Mass in the Parish Hall of the church with a luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to the donor’s charity of choice.
