Dona Mae Pastuck, 95, formerly of Hershey, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. She was the last remaining child of the late Clarence E. Roberts and Alta Nissley Drabenstadt Roberts, born on October 28, 1929, in Harrisburg.
A 1947 graduate of John Harris High School, Harrisburg, Dona would remain in South Central PA all her life. Employed by the U.S. Department of Defense, she spent 19 years as an administrative assistant with the former New Cumberland Army Depot’s Engineering Division.
Dona was active with the Hershey Horticulture Society for several decades and served as the organization's President twice—in both 1972 and '74. She also belonged to the Federated Women's Club and served as President from 2004-2006. She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hershey, where she participated in the Worship & Music Committee and spent 15 years as a member of the Altar Guild. She had an artistic eye too, taking pride in gardening and creating flower arrangements for which she won many blue-ribbon awards, and she also enjoyed painting and displaying her artwork in her home.
Surviving Dona are her children, Teri Frey of Mechanicsburg, Susan Lasko of Virginia, Henry Pastuck of Hummelstown, and John Pastuck of New Jersey; grandchildren, Vanessa Lasko, Alexa Pastuck, Alayna Pastuck, Melanie Pastuck, Marielle Suydam and Margaux Hoover; and great-grandchildren, Jupiter, Frank Jr. and Rosalie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Pastuck; and her siblings.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Her final resting place will be among other family members in Rolling Green Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution in Dona’s name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
