Donald C. Miller, 87, of Camp Hill joined his wife in eternal peace Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital at Holy Spirit Hospital. He was a wonderful man, a loving father and will be greatly missed.
A decorated Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired Fire and Safety Inspection Engineer from Erie Insurance. He was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill. In his younger days, he played the organ and accordion for the DM’s Band. He enjoyed his family, football, golf and a cold beer.
He was born August 14, 1929 in Scranton, PA to the late Simon and Mary (Krinoch) Miller. He was the widower of Ann Lois (Austin) Miller and also preceded in death by his son John Michael Miller.
He is survived by a son, Mark of Camp Hill; three daughters, Michele T. Miller of New Cumberland, Cheryl L. Gordon and husband Jim of Colonial Park, and Donna F. Miller of Carlisle; four grandchildren, Shelly, Ian, Dallas, and Briana; and two great-grandchildren.
A service with military honors will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Hanover Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 E Trindle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
