Donald C. Ross

Donald C. Ross, 58, of Camp Hill, went to be with our Lord on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2021 in UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Hospital, Hampden Twp.

He was a graduate of East Pennsboro High School, studied Bible and Theology at Toccoa Falls College, GA, studied Academic Theology at Alliance Theological Seminary, NY earning his Masters in Theology. He studied Hebrew and Cognate Studies at Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion before serving as a youth pastor in Albany, NY. He was a Master Gardener, avid camper and NASCAR fan and could always be counted on by his family and many friends. He was a source of Christian support and comfort to those around him, especially those in need. Additionally, he was a dog fostering volunteer with Pap Haven, Papillon Dog Rescue.

He was lead forklift coordinator with Chewy, Inc., Lewisberry.

Don was born in Harrisburg, the son of Donald E. and Fawn (Fitting) Ross of Enola. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his life partner Linda Barrs; two daughters, Lauren Henry (Everett) and Alyssa Ross, both of Cincinnati, OH; his sister Andrea Potteiger (John) of Enola; nephews, James (Shanna) and Cameron Potteiger (Joy); and great nephew Luke Potteiger; and his five canine companions, Sebastian, Zoey, Eli, Gabby and Finnley.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 6, 2021 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services that Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
