Donald C. Wyant, 86, of Camp Hill, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in his residence with Donald C. Wyant, 86, of Camp Hill, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was a kind gentle, loving man who retired as manager of the Meat Department for Weis Markets, Inc., Jersey Shore, PA and was a Navy veteran of both WWII and Vietnam spanning two separate enlistments. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the VFW, both of Jersey Shore, PA and the West Shore Senior Center, New Cumberland. He loved playing cards, square dancing and was an avid hunter. But most important to him was his family who meant everything to him.
Don was born in Greenfield Twp., Blair County to the late Claude and Madeline (Johnston) Wyant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Michael.
He is survived by his wife Mary E. (Nevins) Wyant; children, Donald of Lock Haven, Terry of Fountain Inn, SC, Mark of Sayre, PA and Teresa Robinson of Pine Station, PA; step-children, Barbara Greene, Mary Eberly, Robert Stellfox, Stephen Stellfox, David Stellfox and Karen Foster; ten grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 6-8 pm Thursday evening in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland, PA. Graveside services will be held at noon on Friday, March 20, 2015 in Sproul Union Cemetery, Sproul, PA.
