Donald E. Stoner

Donald E. Stoner, 93, of The Woods at Cedar Run, Camp Hill, formerly of New Cumberland, died Monday, December 28, 2020 at The Woods.

A retired Senior Vice President from the former CCNB Bank, he spent 40+ years in the banking industry. Mr. Stoner was a graduate of New Cumberland High School and was a private pilot. Throughout his life, he enjoyed travelling with his wife, painting, riding motorcycles, fishing, Penn State football, and watching sports.

Born on September 5th 1927, he was the son of the late Ruth (Stoner) Frantz and was raised by the late Elmer and Rebecca (Stoner) Kunkle.

The widower of Jacelyn V. (Schade) Stoner, he was also preceded in death by his daughter-in-law Peggie (Dixon) Stoner.

He is survived by his son, Mark D. Stoner of Dillsburg; daughter, Dee Stoner Yoworski (Robert) of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughter, Jessica Kauffman (Chris) of Upperco, MD; great-granddaughter, Aurora Kauffman; half-brother James E. Stoner of FL, several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
