Donna L. Ritter, 79, of Camp Hill died Tuesday, November 23rd at her home.
She had worked for Nationwide Insurance, was the owner/operator with her husband of the family dairy farm in Mechanicsburg and then went on to work for IBM and Footlocker as a Programmer. She enjoyed painting, drawing, cooking, birdwatching, butterfly raising, traveling and watching her grandchildren’s events. Donna was a member of Camp Hill Church of God, Farm Women Group 20, TOPS, and former member of Soroptimist, Lioness, and First Christian Church.
She was born October 25, 1942 in Harrisburg to the late Billy S. and Pearl L. (Yarnell) Brown. She was the widow of Dale S. “Jack” Ritter and also preceded in death by her sister Gail Rhoads and brother Robert Brown.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl A. Stouffer (Nick) of Mechanicsburg; son, Mark E. Ritter (Deanna) of Camp Hill; significant other, John W. Stephens of Camp Hill; sister, Judith Valencik of Mechanicsburg; and grandchildren, Lance, Morgan, Zoe, and Cole; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10am until a Celebration of Donna’s Life at 11am Monday, December 6th at Camp Hill Church of God.
The family requests that you wear masks during the service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA or Camp Hill Church of God.
