Donna Jean Zimmerman

Donna Jean (Gordon) Zimmerman, 92, formerly of Harrisburg, PA, died Friday, November 3, 2023, at Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center, Absecon, NJ.

She was a former employee of State Capitol Savings and Loan, Harrisburg, and Pathmark Grocery Store, Camp Hill; Donna was an avid pinochle player. She loved the Steelers and Penn State Football. In her youth she played softball, enjoyed roller skating and loved all animals.

 She was born on June 17, 1931, in Perry County. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Blanche (Gordon) and Paul Wertz, and her sister, Sandra (Wertz) Shuler. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle R. and Russell Buono, of Cherry Hill, NJ; two grandchildren, Michael of (Philadelphia, PA) and Matthew of (New York City); a sister, Shirley D. (Wertz) Kramer of (Lancaster); four nephews and a niece.

A visitation will be held soon at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Eshcol Cemetery, Saville Twp., Perry County at the convenience of the family. Please watch this space for more information.
