Doris Howell Capricci

Doris Howell Capricci, 92, formerly of New Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in the Thornwald Home, Carlisle.

She was a retired food service employee of the West Shore School District, primarily at Hillside Elementary School, New Cumberland. Doris was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland and loved to read and travel.

Doris was born in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late R. John and Ada (Musser) Howell and was the widow of Clement N. Capricci. She was also predeceased by her brother Richard John Howell, Jr. and a nephew and 2 nieces.

She is survived by her children, Vincent J. Capricci (Betty) of Everett, PA, Samuel C. Capricci (Theresa) of Palm Harbor, FL, Cynthia C. Comer (Leon) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Jean A. Capricci of Mechanicsburg, PA and Mark A. Capricci of New Cumberland; a sister, Shirley Springer of Harrisburg; a grandson; and a great grandson.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Twp.
