Doris L. Savage

Doris L. Savage, 79, of Mechanicsburg died Saturday, February 20, 2021 at her home.

She was a Church Organist and Music Director for 60 years serving in Methodist, Episcopal and Lutheran Churches. She was a member of American Guild of Organist holding the Colleague Certificate (CAGO); an active member of Harrisburg Chapter American Guild of Organists, including Membership Chair and monthly Lunch Bunch Coordinator; and Trinity Lutheran Church, Camp Hill.

She was born July 7, 1941 in Reading, PA to the late Harvey Cleophas and Helen S (Stitzel) Dreibelbis. She was also preceded in death by her brother Allan.

She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Ronald Earl Savage; three sons, Kenneth (Chantal) of New Cumberland, Kevin (Jan) of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Steven (Amy) of Herndon, VA; and five grandchildren, Katie and Evan Savage of Philadelphia and Ryan, Andrew, and Natalie Savage of Herndon, VA.

A memorial service has been scheduled for Doris on Saturday June 19th, 2021 @ 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut St, Camp Hill, PA 17011 (between Market & Chestnut St).

Visitation with the family will occur prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, and lunch will be offered at the church following the service . Note that we will be adhering to any masking and COVID-related guidance that will be in place at that time.
