Dorothy E. (Noel) Askey

Dorothy E. (Noel) Askey, 93, formerly of New Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Forest Park Health Care, Carlisle.

She formerly worked with New Cumberland Junior High School of the West Shore School District and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland.

Dorothy was born in Luzerne Mines, PA, the daughter of the late Robert and Myrtle (Shadle) Noel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur L. Askey, a son Jeffrey M. Askey, three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her children, A. Randy Askey and wife Donna of Enola, David W. Askey of New Cumberland and Kathleen L. Fortna and husband Donald of Dauphin; a sister Beatrice Hamilton of New Cumberland; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
