Dorothy Elaine Tompklins

Dorothy Elaine "Laniey" Tompkins 88 of Fairview Twp passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

She was born June 2, 1933 in Wallisville, Texas to the late Steven Florence Pierce and Buelah Estelle (Blackwell) Pierce Wiggins.

Elaine served in the Navy during the Cold War and later Retired as Office Manager from The Dermatology Center, Camp Hill.

Elaine was always ready to help, talk, listen and just enjoyed doing so many things. Some of her favorites were Gardening, Decorating, Pets and Traveling the U.S. and Abroad.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Roy Tompkins M.D., sister Barbara Jean Cotton and step-father Barley Wiggins.

Elaine is survived by sons William B Carter (Cecilia) of Camp Hill, Robert M Carter of Cornwall, a daughter Stacy K. Carter (Bob) of Etters, brother Stephen H Pierce of Texas and several nieces and nephews.

Interment services will be held at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 4219 E. Trindle Road, Camp Hill, Pa 17011
