Dorothy H. Davis, 95, of The Woods, Camp Hill died Sunday at Holy Spirit Hospital, E. Pennsboro Twp.
She was a retired Registered Nurse from the former Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Physical Therapy.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kingston active in the Brown Bag Bible Study and Iron Temple String Band Women’s Auxiliary. She volunteered with West Side Food Bank in Kingston.
She was born January 11, 1922 in Wilkes-Barre to the late William Carl and Johanna (Reich) Horst. She was the widow of James William Davis. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Jane E. Fennema and three sisters.
She is survived by a son, James W. Davis, Jr. and his wife Debra of Lemoyne; son-in-law, Dennis D. Fennema of Wyoming, OH; four grandchildren, Eric J. Davis, Tim S. Davis, Katie F. Loew, and Megan L. Fennema; five great-grandchildren; three nephews and two nieces.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm Friday, April 28th at The Woods at Cedar Run, 824 Lisburn Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 12th at Holy Trinity Church, Kingston. Interment will follow in Dennison Cemetery, Swoyerville.
