Dorothy Jeanne Cook

Dorothy Jeanne Cook, 88, of Greenfield Senior Living at Graysonview, Harrisburg and formerly of New Cumberland died Friday, July 15, 2016 at Harrisburg Hospital.

She was retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

She was born July 7, 1928 in Harrisburg to the late Samuel and Ruth (Barr) Mann. She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard Charles Cook and sister, Ruth Neidigh Stalnaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Gayle L. Moose (Raymond) of Harrisburg and Nancy D. Rine (Edward) of Dade City, FL; two grandsons, James E. Montz, II (Tonya) of Brandon, FL and Raymond S. Moose, II (Geri) of Hershey; and two great-granddaughters, Rebecka and Jillian Moose, both of Hershey; a niece and great-niece, Debb Neidigh Lutz (Greg) and Yvonne Lutz both of Mifflinville; and lifelong friend Gloria Katuska of New Cumberland.

Visitation will be at 9:30 followed by a memorial service at 10am Thursday at Tree of Life Lutheran Church, Harrisburg. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
