Dorothy N. (Isenberg) Dressler

Dorothy N. (Isenberg) Dressler, 93, of Myerstown and formerly of Lewisberry, died Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital.

She was a co-founder with her husband of the Red Land Food Ministry with over 16 yrs of service; served as a foster parent for minor children for 20 years; fostered the elderly and pre-adoptive babies; was a member of Red Land Valley Brethren in Christ, Lewisberry and attended Fredericksburg United Methodist Church and was an avid crocheter, book reader and gardener. Born on March 16, 1925, in Port Royal, she was the daughter of the late Blair N., Sr. and Ruth N. (Yocum) Isenberg. She was the widow of widow of Kermit A. Dressler and was also preceded in death by preceded by two sons, Barry L. Dressler and James L. Moretz and three brothers, Ralph, John, and Robert Isenberg, and three sisters, Jane Renninger, Bernice Mumma and Emma Dunn.

Surviving are a son, Benjamin E. Dressler and wife, Pamela of Lewisberry; a daughter, Jacqueline C. Brown and husband, Harry of Jonestown; a brother, Blair N. Isenberg, Jr. of Williamsport; eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday at Redland Valley Brethren in Christ Church, 3555 Lewisberry Road, York Haven. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
Viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the church on Friday.
