Edward C. "Sonny" Sinkovitz

Edward C. “Sonny” Sinkovitz, 72, of Harrisburg, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg. He was the son of the late Edward and Josephine (Mettler) Sinkovitz, born on April 10, 1949 in Harrisburg.

Sonny grew up in Steelton and graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School (Class of 1967). He was great with his hands and a skilled woodworker. He was always fascinated with trains and cars; a Lionel train set was always on display, and he enjoyed adding to his extensive collection of die cast metal cars. In his free time, he enjoyed photography, capturing nature’s beauty when he could.

Surviving Sonny are his daughters, Tracy Jackson (Edward) of Steelton, and Trisha Hoffman (Brian) of Dillsburg; grandchildren, Kelly and Ryan Hoffman; siblings, Francis Sinkovitz (Betty), and Mary Kay Wickenheiser (David); and several nieces and nephews.
