Edward J. Coady, 95, of Camp Hill died Monday, April 12, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Hospital.
A Decorated WWII Army Veteran, he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a graduate of Providence College, RI, and received his Masters degree from The University of Rhode Island. He retired after 42 years as a Computer Specialist from the former Mechanicsburg Naval Depot. He was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus Good Shepherd Council 10685. A devout Catholic, he attended Mass daily and prayed the Rosary. He was a kind and soft-spoken man: a true gentleman that will be missed by many.
He was born April 6, 1926 in Fall River, MA to the late John A. and Mary Agnes (Greaney) Coady. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, John A., Joseph D., James E., The Rev. Francis M., and Vincent A. Coady.
He is survived by his brother, William K. Coady of Fall River, MA.
Visitation will be from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am Monday at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill, Celebrated by Reverend Neil S. Sullivan. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River, MA.
