Edward J. Sheptak

Edward J. Sheptak, 80, of Lower Allen Twp., Mechanicsburg, died January 1st, 2015, at Pinnacle - West Shore Hospital, Hampden Twp.
He was the retired founder and co-owner/operator of Capitol Business Forms, New Cumberland; a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Korean War; a 1958 graduate of Grove City College and completed his graduate work at Westminster College, New Wilmington; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; a past president and member of West Shore Rotary; a member of the Knights of Columbus, West Shore Council #4068; a Fourth Degree Knight, Bishop Shanahan Assembly; a member of Harrisburg Bridge Club and VFW Post 7530, Lower Allen. Born on December 18th, 1934, in Lyndora, he was the son of the late Theodore and Nellie (Penar) Sheptak. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John T. Sheptak.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Elsie (LaMark) Sheptak; a son, Scott E. Sheptak of FL; a daughter, Joanne E. Sparrow of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren, Coleman, Ty and Marley; a great grandson, Trace.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St., New Cumberland, with the Rev. Michael McFadden as Celebrant. Private inurnment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.
Visitation will be held 6 – 8 PM on Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
