Edward S. Restrepo, 34, of Marysville, died Friday, April 11, 2014 in Penn State Hershey Medical Center with his family by his side.
Enrolled at Red Land High School from 1994-1998 and graduated from Cedar Cliff High School in 1999, Edward enrolled in computer science courses at Mercer University and Thompson Institute. He completed a network engineer certification program and was a Senior IT Technician with the Amazon Fulfillment Center, Carlisle.
He was a longtime member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland and had been a participant in the Redland Youth Soccer Club and a member of the Capital Area Soccer Referee Association. Edward had a passion for computers, barbecuing, poker, golfing, and video gaming. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his life partner Kathleen “Kassie” Digrugilliers; daughters, Elizabeth S. Restrepo and Adalena S. Restrepo; parents, Jairo D. and Ana Maria (Salom) Restrepo of Etters; brothers, Franklin S. Restrepo and wife Christy of Robesonia and Edgar S. Restrepo and wife Robin of Cherry Hill, NJ; nephews Ethan and Ian Restrepo; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in his church with the Rev. J. Michael McFadden as Celebrant. Visitation will be from 9 – 10:30 am Wednesday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Committal services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are encouraged to the Restrepo Memorial Fund, Santander Bank, 36 Robin Hood Drive, Etters, PA 17319 or any local Santander branch bank.
