Edward Stanley Lukoski, 88, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Select Medical at Harrisburg Hospital.
He retired as a Production Scheduler for the former TRW, Harrisburg; a WWII Veteran serving in the United States Merchant Marine. Mr. Lukoski was a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Harrisburg; American Merchant Marine Veterans, Susquehanna Valley Mariners Chapter; American Legion Post 1001, Harrisburg; a former Grand Knight and member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #869; a Fourth Degree Knight, Bishop J. W. Shanahan Assembly. Born in Coal Twp. on December 6th, 1926, he was the son of the late Stanley and Sophia (Sitko) Lukoski. He was the widow of Theresa H. (Bartlinski) Lukoski and was also preceded in death by a son, James E. Lukoski and a sister, Elizabeth Freitas.
Surviving are a son, Edward A. Lukoski (Toni) of Newport; three daughters, Lynette T. Weaver (Paul) of Camp Hill, Colette Colonna (Walter) of Hanover and Paulette Coma (Daniel) of New Cumberland; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 21st, at Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament, Harrisburg, with the Rev. Paul R. Fisher as Celebrant. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass in the church.
