Elijah Matthew Lehman

Elijah Matthew Lehman, 17, of New Cumberland died Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in York Hospital.

He was a Junior at West Shore Christian Academy. He was a member of Camp Hill United Methodist Church and most recently attended New Cumberland Alliance Church. He loved hanging out with his friends. Elijah also enjoyed soccer, basketball, track, hunting, fishing and shooting his bow. He always relished shooting larger deer than his father's. He was involved in New Cumberland Youth Baseball since the age of five. He had a heart for the down-trodden and the marginalized. He enjoyed mission work, most recently in St. Petersburg, Russia.

He was born September 3, 2001 in Hershey, PA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Earl “Peno” Urich.

He is survived by his parents, Andrew C. and Jill A. (Urich) Lehman; four brothers, Noah Andrew, Joshua Thomas, Seth Joseph, and Levi Paul; paternal grandparents, Charles and Gladys Lehman of York; maternal grandmother, Deborah Urich of New Bloomfield; Uncle, Thomas Lehman (Memo) of Washington, DC; and aunt, Linda Lehman Stewart (Kevin) of Silver Spring, MD.

Viewings will be from 4 to 6pm Sunday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland, and from 10am until funeral services at 11am Monday at Camp Hill United Methodist Church.
