Elizabeth A. Gouse

Elizabeth A. (Buchenauer) Gouse, 97, of Mechanicsburg, previously of New Cumberland peacefully passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Bethany Village, Lower Allen Twp.
She retired as a sales associate in the boys’ department of the former Doutrich’s Men’s Department Store in Harrisburg. She was a member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland Golden Age Club, Capital City Polka Dancers Association, and Steelton Moose Lodge 382.
She was born November 13, 1916 in Steelton to Peter and Agnes (Villant) Buchenauer. She was the widow of Milton S. Gouse, Sr. and also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her son, Milton S. Gouse, Jr. of Dillsburg and his wife Winnie; a sister,Eva Hammaker of Winston Salem, NC; two grandchildren, Dawnn E. Trostle and Milton S. Gouse, III, both of Dillsburg; three great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 10am followed by funeral services at 11am Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Interment will follow in Camp Hill Cemetery.
