Elizabeth B. (Belicic) Lescanic

Elizabeth B. Lescanic, 88, of Harrisburg, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 in Colonial Park Care Center, Harrisburg.

She was a retired Admissions Clerk with the former Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg; a former parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Harrisburg; and a 1947 graduate of the former Harrisburg Catholic High School (now Bishop McDevitt High School).

Elizabeth was born in Steelton to the late Joseph and Barbara (Ladeka) Belicic and was the widow of Louis John Lescanic.

She is survived by her son Michael L. Lescanic, M.D. and wife Anne of Ponte Vedra, FL; her daughter Patricia Toomey of New Cumberland; two sisters, Dorothy Martin of Harrisburg and Joann Laukemann of St. Petersburg, FL; and three grandchildren, Michael Lescanic of Omaha, NE, Nicholas Lescanic of Boulder, CO and Catherine Lescanic of Boulder, CO.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on Friday, April 21, 2017 in St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St. Harrisburg with the Rev. Neil Sullivan as Celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass, also in the church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, directly across the street from the church.
