Elizabeth H. "Betty" Toniola

April 24, 1932 — January 9, 2021

Elizabeth H. “Betty” Toniola, 88, of Camp Hill, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in UPMC Pinnacle Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Twp.

She was a retired secretary with the former Olmstead Air Force Base, Middletown, a graduate of Steelton High School, a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland and a former member of St. James Catholic Church, Steelton. She was a member of The Roller Club and an avid fan of Steel High athletics, a longtime member of the Katz Bowling League and the Rise & Shine Seniors Bowling League. Betty enjoyed bowling, reading and attending church, but more than anything, she loved to take care of her family.

Betty was born in Harrisburg to the late Paul B. and Helen Mary (Foesel) Matthews.

She was the widow of Vance Toniola and is survived by her children, Cheryl T. Posavec and husband John of New Cumberland and David W. Conz of Camp Hill; a brother Thomas P. Matthews of Lebanon; and two grandchildren.

Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Betty’s memory to Disabled American Veterans Chapter 50, 4219 Trindle Rd. Camp Hill, PA 17011.
