Elizabeth W. Richards

Elizabeth W. Richards, 81, of Hershey died Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Campus, Lower Paxton Twp.

She retired as a Family and Consumer Science Teacher from Lower Dauphin High School. She was a member of Derry Presbyterian Church, Hershey having served as a Sunday School Teacher. She was a volunteer with Arc of Dauphin County. She enjoyed creating stained glass, sewing, and especially her grandchildren.

She was born May 28, 1938 in Indiana, PA to the late Louis A. and Elizabeth (Buntin) Will. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Max E “Ed” Richards; and sisters, Barbara, Wilhelmina, and Sally.

She is survived by two daughters, Wihelmina “Willy” Stapf (Thomas) of Elizabethtown and Sally W. Copeland (Mark) of Hershey; a brother, Louis A. Will of North Ridgeville, OH and three grandchildren, Samuel Stapf and Katie and Maddie Copeland.

Private services were held at Derry Presbyterian Church. Burial is in Broadview Cemetery, Derry Twp.
