Ella A. Barton

Ella A. Barton, 97, of Etters, PA and formerly of Massachusetts and New York, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 surrounded by her loving family in her residence.

She was a retired hospital administrator for the Long Island Jewish Hospital (now Hillside Medical Center), Long Island, NY and was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Etters.

Ella was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada to the late William and Martha (Caldwell) Bernard.

She was the widow of her husband of more than fifty years, Roy S. Barton and is survived by her son William R. Barton and wife Tanya of Etters; two grandchildren, Michael Barton and wife Angela and Christopher Barton and wife Angela; four great grandchildren, Karlie, Kassidy, Gage and Emma; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, April 2, 2016 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Viewing will be one hour prior to service time in the funeral home. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
