Elliot Robert Hanna

Elliot Robert Hanna, of Etters, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013 from a severe asthma attack at the age of 28 in Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Derry Twp.
Elliot was born in York to his parents, Steven L. and Sheila G. (O’Connell) Hanna of Etters. He attended Red Land High School and graduated from Einstein Academy. As a strong young man, Elliot was taken from us way before his time. Even though he was with us for a short amount of time, he gave so much love to his family and friends. Elliot was the most loving and kind hearted man you could have ever met. He always wanted to help everyone around him; he had a heart of gold. Some of Elliot’s favorite past times were fishing with his father, watching the news, sports, playing video games, fixing computers and reading. Elliot would have loved to travel – he had so much love for life and was an amazing man.
In addition to his parents, Elliot is survived by his maternal grandmother Joan O’Connell of York; his paternal grandmother Mary Lou Swartz of York; brother Ryan L. Hanna of Etters; his sister Keri J. Hanna of College Station, TX; and was preceded in death by a brother Kygh L. Hanna.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2013 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service time in the funeral home.
Celebrate him in your memories and live life as he did; to the fullest. Elly, El, Elly Belly, ET, Cuz, Brother, Son, Uncle and Grandson, you will be missed more than we can bear. We will see you soon. In the meantime, watch over us. Thank you for lighting up our lives so much! We love you Buddy!
