Elmer E. "Herk" Busler

Elmer E. “Herk” Busler, 75, of Mechanicsburg, died Thursday, September 05, 2013 in his residence.
He was retired from Quaker Oats Corporation, Shiremanstown where he worked for over 43 years. He was a former employee of the P.I.A.A., a former wrestling coach at Cedar Cliff High School and New Cumberland Junior High in the West Shore School District and was an avid bowler.
Herk was born in Lemoyne to the late William E. and Clara (Sprecker) Busler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Michelle Tio.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Diane I. “Danni” Busler; a son Michael E. of Dunkirk, MD; two daughters, Dawn Marie Sauls of Wormleysburg and Karen Ann Whitney of Denver, CO; three stepsons, Michael S. Murray of Conowingo, MD, Matthew S. Murray of New Cumberland and Mark S. Murray of Greensburg, PA; a stepdaughter Deborah J. Murray of Brookville, FL; a brother Richard of Lemoyne; two sisters, Shirley Heiges of Harrisburg and Roberta Eason of Lemoyne; twelve grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, September 9, 2013 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. David M. Hereshko officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Lewisberry.
