Elsie M. Carpenter

Elsie M. Carpenter, 67, of New Cumberland, died Sunday, February 23, 2014, at Select Specialty Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She retired as a supervisor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Dept. of Revenue and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Born on March 20th, 1946, she was the daughter of Pearl M. Ott Intrieri of Camp Hill and the late Clarence “Josh” Intrieri. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Theresa A. Stouffer.
In addition to her mother, surviving are her husband, George W. Carpenter; a son, G. Michael Carpenter (Lynn M.) of Mechanicsburg; three brothers, Frank Intrieri of New Cumberland, Stephen Intrieri of Etters and Clarence Intrieri Jr. of East Berlin; two grandchildren, Chelsea N. and Brooke K.; several cousins including Lisa Ott.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Michael McFadden as Celebrant. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be held 9:30 – 10:30 AM Wednesday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
