Emilio "Mel" A. And Elizabeth A. Lancione

Emilio A. and Elizabeth A. (Hollingshead) Lancione of Etters, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. They were 63 years of age.
They were both members of Paxton Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg and graduates of Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove. Emilio (Mel) was a Senior Application Specialist at Associated Wholesaler, Inc. of York, PA and Elizabeth (Beth) was a retired English Department Aid for Red Land High School and recently became a published author with the release of the first two editions of her children’s book series. The family is proud that her legacy will live on through “The Adventures of Solomon Screech Owl”.
Mel and Beth were loving and supportive parents, grandparents and friends. They took great joy in spending time with family, participating in various church and ministry activities and the adventure of travel and outdoor activities.
They are survived by their children Jana M. Murray and husband Jason of York Haven and John A. Lancione and wife Stephanie of Chambersburg; and three grandchildren, Jeff, Garrett and Amelia. Additionally, Mel is survived by a brother Thomas of Florida and Beth is survived by her parents John and Barbara Hollingshead.
Jana and Garrett were also injured in the car accident so a memorial service for Mel and Beth and celebration of their lives will be held at future date to be announced by the family when all can attend.
Memorial contributions are respectfully encouraged to be sent to Paxton Presbyterian Church where the family will decide at a later date what individual ministries and charities will be supported in their name.
