Our beautiful beloved Emily Rose Bielawa, 27, lost her seven-year battle from heroin addiction on June 25, 2018.
Emily leaves behind her three sisters, Courtney, Whitney and Elizabeth; her brothers, Ryan and Tyler, her daughter and the light of her life, Ava Jade Bielawa; her mother, Barb and father, Stan, and grandmother Earlene. She will be greeted in heaven by her brother Tim who has preceded her in death.
Before addiction, Emily lived each day to laugh and love. She was a peacemaker and constant loyal friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed sports and was very athletic. Her place in our family will forever be filled with all the loving memories rather than the painful disease that haunted her soul.
May she rest in peace with Jesus Christ our Lord, finally pain-free, our beautiful sister, mother, daughter and friend.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church,1300 Bridge St., New Cumberland, with the Rev. Michael McFadden as Celebrant. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.
Viewing will be held 5 – 7 PM Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, the family strongly suggests memorial contributions to a trust account that has been set up for Emily’s daughter, Ava. Checks should be made payable to Ava Bielawa and sent to Members First Credit Union, 5211 Simpson Ferry Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
