Eric J. Kauffman

Eric J. Kauffman, 39, of New Cumberland, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 18th, at his home. Eric was a loving son, father, uncle and friend.

A graduate of Red Land High School and Shippensburg University, Eric’s passion for wrestling was evident throughout his life, both as a competitor and a coach. He dedicated countless hours to coaching wrestling at Red Land, as well as his son’s t-ball and soccer teams, sharing his love of sports. Outside of working as an IT professional, Eric was an avid fan of NASCAR, Penn State sports, and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Above all, Eric cherished the moments he spent with his son, Easton. Whether they were playing outdoors, biking, or fishing, Eric found immense joy in spending quality time with his son.

Eric was born on October 16, 1985, in Harrisburg. He is survived by his beloved son, Easton Kauffman; his parents, John E. and Debra (Rosenberger) Kauffman of Etters; his grandmother, Doris Chrisman (Dennis) of New Oxford; his brother, Craig Kauffman (Alison) of Phoenixville; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

A visitation will be held starting at 10:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Eric’s Life at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 31st, at Parthemore Funeral Home in New Cumberland.
